Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2026-01-07T06:53Z ( STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2026-01-07T06:53:00-CME-001 (version 2)
Source Location: S15E16
Active Region Number: 14334
Note Keyword:
DFL: Likely deflection of the event within the FOV
PRM: Prominence material (filamentary structures)
CHP: CME - Coronal Hole Proximity
Source Signature Keyword:
FLR: Flare
FIL: Filament eruption
Morphology Keyword:
Note: CME first seen to the E in STEREO A COR2 starting at 2026-01-07T06:53Z. This CME is only seen in STEREO A COR2. The source is most likely an eruption from AR 14334 (S15E16) associated with a C7.4 flare that peaked at 2026-01-07T06:12Z. The flare is best seen in SDO AIA 131, and the associated eruption is best seen in SDO AIA 193 and SDO AIA 304. There appears to be some deflection possibly due to the southern extension of coronal hole W of AR 14334 that was centered approximately around S18E03 at the time of the eruption.

If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type |

This measurement is somewhat subjective because this CME is only visible in STEREO A COR2. The longitude in the measurement is based on the source location on the Earth-facing disk. |
1: Result 1 (2.0 AU)
2: Result 2 (5.5 AU)
